| 14.01.2012 13:53 | The big problem at the moment is that when more than about 800 posts exist on a thread, my crappy shared server times-out, screwing the display of all comments. Unfortunately introducing pagination while not generally a big problem would make the "jump to response" and similar functions unworkable in their current form. It'll probably take a couple of days to figure this out. This may be to do with the MS SQL Server 2008 I'm using, a lack of indexes, or what the current phase of the moon is... Anyway, I'm investigating the issue but time may not permit a quick resolution. |
